T400CN + Nikon FE.

Nikon FE

got the prints from the lab of the cemetary and CH shoot. hmmm...wasnt too satisfied on the 400CN as it somehow look like it is lack of contrast. and it has a color cast, slightly greenish on some shots. no photos though, not worth scanning la actually.

prefer the Tmax100 i shot last time. geez, really gotta learn to develop the damn film if im goin to continue this B&W thingy. sigh.

on the other hand, finally got the FE, yeah the manual camera! and with the help of Mike (http://thalis70.fotopages.com), it's now attached to a 50mm AIS 1.8 from Desmond's shop. man the camera and lens are awesome to fiddle around
gonna put it to a test run somewhere next week.

enjoy.

coolin' cameron highlands.

panaromic from Bharat Plantations.
on the way up to Mt. Brinchang.
red as strawberries.
View all 12 photos...

had a last minute trip to cameron highlands...yeah, just one day after i came back from s'pore. havoc. but it was a good trip. the apartment we stayed was way cold and all the utensils, etc and also astro.

didnt visited that many places, just the usual flower flower thingy, and also Kuala Woh waterfall. nope, didnt get that many waterfall shots. no ND filter susah to get low shutter speed la.

drove up to Gunung Brinchang- 6,666feet above sea level, bout half of Mt. Kinabalu. it was totally shrouded in mist...visibility was like, 1 metre. had a cig and a can of beer, that was good
strawberries are a must i guess for everyone who go up, so i bought me self a nice packet of 'em. man, they are red as..er, strawberries.

food was OK, steamboat loh wat else?
anyway, CH is still a good place to go relax, still has many nice spots for photo taking, be it landscape, streets shots or...model shoot if u really want la

still have more shots in the film camera, but since i took some on the digital, might as well la.

enjoy.

Great pix !! very attractive man ! Sat 25-Sep-2004 01:33

Orange alley in Clarke Quay.
View all 8 photos...

my sis is found a job in singapore and went down the last weekend to shift some of her stuff, etc. it's been awhile since i head down there but actually there wasnt much change.

stayed nearby orchard and it's still busy as hell...reminds me of NYC

here are my observations:
1.singaporeans are always in a rush.
2.singapore food doesnt go with me (personal taste )
3.air is much much better in singapore.
4.and woah..the way the girls dress...

didnt do much visiting. only around orchard road, went to Clarke quay and Chinatown to eat some famous porridge.

clarke quay was nice, should make a trip there again, there was this bungy jumpoing thingy going on but nah, no guts la me. chinatown was packed! but also interesting esp. with all the lanterns now in Mooncake Festival. all in all it was good fun, except for the food part

enjoy.

went to tmn connaught graveyard today with some guys to shoot. not as creepy as i thought but was still good fun. the only thing that was bugging us the damn mozzies.

and anna was kind enough to be the model cum make-up artist too! cool stuff. should return to get more shots, it was a pretty big area with lots of room to walk, so maybe that's the reason it being not-so-spooky, or "boring" as Eugene said

first half of the day was fairly uneventful, with me camping in the library since 9.00 am till 6.30 pm. hah, but after that, it's another story. went to the music store, and had this urge to spend...finally bought Michael Jackson's Ones. yeah, i know, with him and his trial going on now, pretty pathetic but still, his music is cool.

and with the senior batch leaving here next week for good, they decided to cook dinner and have some sort of a farewell party..something like that.

party continued waaay after i left for the library again, with alcohol and mahjong but nah, didnt join them. cheers to them and i'll see those dudes in malacca next february.

enjoy.

*p.s- im having some obssesion with desaturated and square format photos at the moment.

woa..sum1 got soft spot for b/w and medium format now?

So fun-nyer..can't wait my turn now..

bored outta my skin.

bored outta my skin.
took the camera to the library today. but didnt get many shots as i cant walk around pointing the camera here and there with everybody studying, so i just played around with it.

wasnt a good idea as i kept looking around trying to find something to photograph instead of looking at my notes. so the camera stays at home tmrw.

enjoy. im stressed.
